Car Rentals
Prefer the freedom of your own car? All major US rental companies operate at both Casablanca (CMN) and Fès (FEZ) airports - we recommend booking in advance through Hertz, Avis, Budget, or Enterprise for the best rates and availability. Having a car is a wonderful way to explore Morocco at your own pace. If you run into any difficulty booking or need help finding a car, reach out to me at hafssachbihi@gmail.com.
Taxis and Trains
ONCF trains connect Casablanca, Rabat, Meknès, and Fès with regular service -scenic, comfortable, and recommended. Apps like inDrive and local taxi services work well within Meknès itself and other major cities.
Visa
Citizens of the US, EU, UK, Canada, and Australia do not require a visa for stays up to 90 days. We recommend verifying current entry requirements for your nationality with your government's travel advisory prior to booking.
Currency
Morocco uses the Dirham (MAD). We recommend exchanging currency on arrival at a local currency exchange bureau for the best rates. Cards are accepted at most hotels and larger restaurants; cash is useful for souks, tips, and smaller spots. ATMs are widely available.
